Penang Pening

hi assalamualaikum!

so since i already done with week 14 of my fifth semester and i need some short getaway before my finals start, my friends and I went to penang for a day road trip! ok guess what, going for a road trip has been one of my wishlist for this year and i finally made it twice which were pd and penang. plus, both with my bisfin, aida. went there with my car at 3 fcking am! yesh

[oh let me shared my budget here, i only spent everythings for rm110-rm115 excluded my jeruk. but i'll share the details below ok? however, minyak was only rm30/pax and tol rm25/pax]

i actually taktahu whether i tido ke tak senanya before 3am tu since ive been really excited since a week ago. told aida about it we've been counting days every single day.

but i woke up before my alarm which around 2 something near to 3am. then, i replied to our group ws asking whether anyone already woke up. called aida and i straight away got ready.

packed my things and suddenly its renyai sikit tapi nasib kejap je. picked up aida, helmi and faris. helmi drove us all the way from rawang to penang hehe tenkiu! we isi minyak at rnr rawang before. pastu decided where to go cause we only had plan for breakfast tapi pastu aida tido and we only jalan je la

stopped at one rnr before juru (?) around 6am cause we wanted to solat but got no surau so we stopped at shell kot after the tol. solat and get ready a little bit sebab we're like mehhhh

continued our journey, we followed the old jambatan and straight to roti canai transfer road! and that time baru bukak around 7am tepat jugakla. we waited for so long sebab roti canai havent arrived yet sampailaaa dah ramai gila orang beratur. around 8am jugak baru dapat our roti canai. aida ordered the roti bakar ada telur goyang tu and 3 of us roti canai with ayam.

i am not really a fan of roti canai actually. tapi okayla for first time try, i kinda like it. roti canai tu roti telur. kuah dia banyak gila and ayam dia bahagian drumstick kira quarter la ayam tu. kari dia a bit meh for me tapi i rate it as 3.8/5. untuk tunggu? you should come around 7am, duduk cecepat kat dalam kedai sebab kalau tak you need to duduk at another spot bertentangan ngan kedai which agak jauh tapi tak secrowded kedai. i didnt makan the roti bakar sebab i dont like telur goyang tu soooo idk and i lupa nak tanya pendapat my friends.

then, we planned in the car nak pegi mana. so i pakai makeup in car and we went to street art sebab aida nak amik gambar dekat tempat ada basikal hahahahaha. so street art was only free. walked around cari tempat street art tu, found basikal and motor and thats it. tu je spot kitaorang nak sebab hashtag malas hahahaha. but you can actually sewa basikal sebab ada tempat sewa automatik tu. cumanya, we're malas.

pastu we wanted to go to bukit bendera sebab hashtag playing tourist. however................... ramai gila since it was holiday kan. banyak gila bas. and that place was crowded even nak beratur naik panjang gila babs. aida and faris almost bought our tickets pastu i cecepat call tanya betul ke nak and dorang pun cam nak taknak so we cancelled our plans. but the ticket if i am not mistaken rm12 untuk pegi dan balik. we cancelled since malas nak tunggu and boleh pegi tempat lain daripada berjam kat situ. so we only took selfies with sign of 'penang hill' at the back as proved that we already went there.

as ganti, we went to wonderfood museum. sumpah, best. so many foods and drinks. so colourful. staffs were friendly. so many spot to take picture. even theres staff yang bertugas so we can ask them to take our group picture banyak kali. we were really happy and excited dalam tu. banyak gila gambar we took. cumanya, consequence from that place, keluar je we were really really hungry hhahahaha oh btw nak park dekat ngan museum ni i payed parking fare via mobile apps i save 'penang parking'. i topup rm10 tapi park for an hour for only 80 sen. senang. this place is highly recommended kalau nak pegi, tak nyesal. even kena bayar rm15.

pastu we went to rumah peninggalan p. ramlee. weh, this place was also crowded cause we though tak ramai sangat orang. we pusing like 3-4times to find parking spot. tapi we managed to find parking kat dalam area tempat tu. it was free. kind of museum dia citer all about p.ramlee dari kecik. and then ada rumah dia kat sebelah. we didnt manage to masuk sebab sumpah crowded nak mampos. we only amik gambar from bawah and terus blah sebab lapar gila masatu dah around 12pm something. yela we makan awal kan

so for lunch, of course we wanted nasi kandar but we need to decide which one. so kitaorang guna apps 'tiny decision' to decide for us. benda tu yang kita letak nama restoran and then ada roda pusing tuuu macam roda impian. centu la kitaorang bila susah nak decide.

decision? nasi kandar haemediyah. parked at bangunan macam 100m from kedai for rm1/per hour and rm1/for following 30mins. walked a bit masa panas tu nasib agak mendung tak panas bak ang sangat. and then we need to beratur. for like, 30mins? tapi sebab lapar we gagahkan juga. so i ordered nasi kandar putih tu with ayam goreng and kuah campur. i tak makan sayur. papadom satu bungkus with teh o ais. as orang yang tak pernah makan nasi kandar tempat lain, i didnt complain much plus i was so hungry masatu. so makan je la kan but my cousin told me that nasi beriani dia lagi sedap but since i kinda on diet tapi on road trip for food, nasi putih je la. helmi ordered kambing. aida and faris siap ada bendi with telur masin. my food? 4.3/5! i suka! i siap teringat ingat rasa kuah campur dia sampai on next day, my dad beli nasi kandar kat sini aahahahahhahaha. maybe if i pernah try nasi kandar lain then baru i boleh cakap which one better

even masatu baru nak 3pm, tapi we decided to pegi batu feringgi terus since masatu dah agak mendung and takut hujan and we didnt have any plan dah. lagipun penang jem gila haritu. so around 3 something nak 4 kitaorang dah sampai batu feringgi

we parked dekat kawasan parking tu since nak park dekat starbucks tu tapi penuh. i was really happy sebab rindu gila kot pantai. even i hilang suara balik lepas balik feringgi sebab banyak jerit masa main air. yelaaaaa i main air with my baju dari pagi tu and my jeans pastu jeans i hampir separuh basah sebab ombak tetiba kuat. took photos pastu main kejar kejar hahahahahahah semua kena paksa sebab i yang ajak

pastu we went to starbucks tu sebab nak basuh kaki since kat situ ada paip pastu stayed there for a bit. maybe sampai 5 kot. pastu we went to padang kota lama for our last food huaaaa

ramai gila kat padang kota lelagi sebab weekend, cuti sekolah and ada apatah kind of festival. nasib baik ada parking tau.

so dekat situ we makan kerang bakar with of course pasembor. i ordered air kelapa muda sebab masatu sakit tekak gila gila hilang suara. kerang bakar was mehhh sebab ada tak masak and my friend cakap dia dapat bahagian yang busuk. pasembor ada yang okay ada yang keras and kuah dia sikit gila. maybe sebab we ordered at wrong place. mana taknya, kena paksa order kat kedai dia baru dia nak lapkan meja!! dasarrrrr. tapi pasembor tu quite banyak gak ah kitaorang amik penuh satu pinggan. sebab masa amik amik tu i tanya kalau camni bape rm and then dia cakap rm12 so we tambah lagi. i tak amik sotong ke udang ke, amik yang mur mur jeee

dah nak dekat 7, we decided to gerak balik. i beli jeruk sebab my dad and i suka. so 1kg jeruk i beli tu rm16. jeruk salak and jeruk betik. i tak ingat nama kedai jeruk tu tapi macam kedai dia je jual jeruk kat tepi kedai kedai pasembor tu.

actually, banyak lagi kedai makan we nak pegi tapi semua dah penat and like a day trip kan so tak banyak masa. macam ais tingkap, mee goreng sotong tuuuu, cendol semua. so maybe, next trip? hahahahaha

balik helmi drive sampai rnr lepas jambatan kedua. we stopped at rnr sebab aida, faris and me nak tukar baju. sehari with baju sama, berlengas oiiii pastu lepas rnr tu faris yang drive pulak. oh i ada drive eh masa pegi bukit bendera and pegi wonderfood tu hehehehhe dua kali tu je la loll

so faris drive sampaila tapah then dia cakap sakit mata nak drive. so helmi take over balik. nasib masa faris drive dia dah tido. me? i tido all the way sampai rawang hahahahahhaha hashtag function ter0x.

we managed to sampai rawang around 11 something sebab masa i sampai umah dah nak 12am. penat gilaaaaaaaaa but it was really worth it! rindu sangat.

next trip gais? ok? hehehe

My review on K-fry urban korean!

Assalamualaikum and hiiiiiiiii


so its actually 12.30am but here i am gonna talk about fooood that might makes me go downstairs and find some food later but anyways, i'm gonna make a review on k-fry! i am someone who lovesss to eat, especially chicken! i already tried on kyochon for few times (cant remember lol) and i love it so much. then, since k-fry finally open a new store at one utama so my friends and i decided to give a try. i want to try on their bingsu so bad!

we went there on tuesday. masatu weekdays where orang kerja and sekolah so kedai tu tak full like how i saw orang post story kena tunggu and beratur panjang. masa kitaorang pergi, kedai tu penuh actually but still we only need to wait tak more than 10mins. so macam okayla kot? compared to kyochon, pernah beratur almost 30mins and masatu lapar nak mampos.

waiter k-fry semua nice gila! i mean like, diaorang peramah. customers masuk semua macam welcome in. they smiled. even once, kitaorang semua like tunggu ayam tu sampai cam muka kebulur then this one waiter dia cam "yes?" like ingatkan kitaorang nak pape padahal we only looked around. kalau mintak apa apapun, they serve it nicely. masa order pun kitaorang cam kabut tapi dia still cam gelak sekali lolll which for me, service by waiter: 10/10!

for the food, we ordered one whole chicken senanya!!! hahahahahha masatu kebulur gila tak fikir panjang do.

so memula, the star for k-fry kot? yang ayam balut dengan cheese tu we ordered krazy spicy cheesy fried chicken bumbuk. yang another plate pun sama it just tak balut cheese lagi sebab dia cakap kalau buat semua nanti makan yang another plate tu cheese dia dah keras so tak sedap. they cooked it again once we asked so time kita makan tu still panas and sedapla cheese dia.

i tak ingat the exact price. but i think around rm50-60.

my honest opinion, cheese dia muak. sebab maybe kitaorang makan with another ayam at the same time and tamak sangat. so dia rasa cepat kenyang. we even take away weh sebab dah tak larat nak makan. tapi, kalau makan awal awal or macam nak merasa, sedap. even ayamtu i tak ingat but i think boneless????oh yes, i baru check daripada websites k-fry. semua boneless! so peminat tegar ayam begini gonna love it. we ordered spicy sebab kalau makan dengan cheese and tak pedas, maybe cepat muak. so i think we made a good choice unless korang okay je dengan yang lain. and it came with the fries tu.

rate: 9/10!

so gonna repeat tapi tak makan with another chicken dah. maybe kalau we only ordered this one might be okay so tak cepat kenyang and muak. i like this one sebab boneless! 

next one yang macam ayam goreng biasa tu. that one is kfry garlic soya chicks. this one pun half chicken hahahaahhaha. yang ni tak boneless yela half chicken kan. for me, sedap. tapi takleh lawan kyochon punya. i mean, i like kyochon more. tapi still yang ni sedap senanya serious hahahahah. 

price: around 20-40 (tak ingat weh sorry)

rate: 8.5/10!

and last one. my fav!!!

mango bingsu! ahhhh i love this one and i dah craving nak lagi!! it just something yang sedap dimakan even masatu perut dah muak dengan ayam cheese tapi i can still makan ni. idk how to describe tapi ni macam nikmat dunia! lagi dengan ice creamnya. dengan mangonya. lepas makan ni boleh brain freeze pastu sejuk gila tapi nikmat weh

price: rm25-30

rate: 10/10!

i'll definitely come again and order this one!

oh ya, the dessert will be serve anytime korang nak. mostly kalau korang rasa ayam tu dah nak habis bolehla order sebab amik masa around 15-20mins to buat. 

in conclusion, i actually love both (kfry and kyochon) since both ada keistimewaan sendiri. not gonna compared this two. if you guys tak pernah try any one of kfry or kyochon, you guys should try it sebab both are my favs!
